The Walt Disney Company and Epic Games have announced a collaboration to create new games and entertainment experiences. The news was shared during this weekend's Disney Horizons Live presentation, which is the largest update from Epic since the launch of Fortnite.
Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks Experiences and Products, revealed the collaboration during a live stream event. Fortnite gamers can access the latest announcements through the game's new Disney Horizons Live island.
The collaboration between Disney and Epic Games will focus on creating new games and experiences that combine the strengths of both companies. Disney's vast library of characters and stories will be integrated into Epic's cutting-edge technology and gaming expertise.
The D23 Disney Horizons event will be available for just under a week, until Aug. 15. The livestream can be viewed through the Disney Horizons Live from D23 island within Fortnite.
