France fails to inspire in final home match before Euros
France signed off at home before leaving for Euro 2024 with an entertaining but uninspiring draw against Canada on Tuesday.
The match, played in front of a sell-out crowd at the Stade de France, saw France take the lead through Antoine Griezmann in the 32nd minute. However, Canada equalized just before half-time through Cyle Larin.
Both teams had chances to win the game in the second half, but neither could find a winner. The draw leaves France with just one win from their last four matches, and they will be hoping for a better performance when they open their Euro 2024 campaign against Germany on June 15.
