The Atlanta Hawks have won the 2024 NBA Draft Lottery, despite having just a 3% chance of winning the top pick. This is the first time the Hawks have won the lottery since 1994, when they drafted Jason Kidd.
The Hawks will now have the opportunity to select the top overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, which is expected to be a strong draft class. Some of the top prospects include Jaden Hardy, Scoot Henderson, and Cam Whitmore.
The San Antonio Spurs, who won the 2023 NBA Draft Lottery and selected Victor Wembanyama, will pick second overall in this year's draft. The Spurs have a strong young core led by Wembanyama, Keldon Johnson, and Devin Vassell, and they could add another talented player to their team with the second overall pick.
The 2024 NBA Draft will be held on Thursday, June 20, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
