Lakers Vs Nuggets Game 4

Jokic Powers Nuggets to Comeback Win

Jokic Dominates in the Paint

Nikola Jokic delivered a dominant performance in the paint on Monday night, leading the Denver Nuggets to a 113-111 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Serbian center bullied his way into the lane and finished a difficult shot in traffic, giving the Nuggets their first lead of the game with just over two minutes remaining.

Nuggets rally from behind

The Nuggets trailed by 11 points in the fourth quarter but battled back to tie the game with 1:28 left. Jokic then drew a foul on Lakers forward Anthony Davis and hit both free throws to give Denver the lead for good. Jokic finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists on the night.

Lakers fall short

The Lakers were led by LeBron James, who scored 30 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists. However, James missed a potential game-tying three-pointer in the final seconds of the game. The loss drops the Lakers to 2-2 in the series.

Series shifts to Denver

The Nuggets now have home-court advantage in the series. Game 5 will be played in Denver on Wednesday night. The Lakers will need to find a way to contain Jokic if they want to tie the series.
